From the idea to the realization
Celestis was founded in spring 2014 and has been providing drone services ever since.
The founders of Celestis came from the renewable energy sector. They recognised early on that the use of a drone and the corresponding equipment would enable the necessary inspections of the plants to be carried out more efficiently than before.
Tests and Experiences
Parallel to the foundation, the first drone was delivered to Celestis. An AscTec Falcon 8 - today Intel.
The Falcon 8 Trinity is still a very efficient drone today. Equipped with 4 payloads (full-frame cameras and IR camera), first tests were made and experiences were gained.
